Meet the Author
The Fling is Elle J. Lawson’s first foray into fiction writing, with most of her 20-year writing career being in non-fiction, technical writing and corporate communications. She is an active member of Romance Writers of America and her local chapter, Heart of Carolina Romance Writers.
Her education includes a BA degree in Communication Studies, an MA in English, as well as graduate-level certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Lawson now lives in North Carolina with her husband, son, and their spoiled Chihuahua. She loves reading, movies, and travel to exotic locations.

I promised to explain my reason for requesting a review copy (remember?). Well, I still stand behind my I-don’t-do-real-reviews thing. That being said, I am doing what I call “simple reviews” for BTS eMagazine as The Heat Diva. Every two months a new issue comes out and beginning in May, my column does, too. I’m not the first “Heat Diva” and I won’t be the last, but it gave me an opportunity to pimp writers and books I like without having to do the more formal reviews that book bloggers are really good at. I simply get to say why I think erotica-loving readers should check it out. It’s sort of a Shameless Promotion on steroids.
