We’re All Insecure About Something #podcast

I’ve had insecurities on my mind a lot lately. Mostly my own. Like the day when I cried on John Brownstone’s chest, “I know you love what you see when you look at me, but I hate what I see!” Yep, big ole tears that day.

Of course, talking to other people, not just kinksters, I know I’m not the only one. We all have something that we think is awful, ugly, or unlovable about us. Lately, though, I’ve received questions and requests for advice from kinksters who truly believe they’ll never find love or their current relationship is doomed to fail. Not because there are problems within the relationship but because they think something is inherently wrong with them.

Which means it’s time to talk about it in a bigger way. I really wanted this week’s episode to be nice and systematic to cover every possible thing, but insecurities (in general) were too much for us to get our arm’s around. Hopefully our meandering ramble through the topic is enough to help someone out there. We’ll come back to this topic in the future, but here’s where we began this week.

In this episode:

  • Join the Loving BDSM Community!
  • The first Livestreamed Munch is July 1
  • Don’t forget Kinky Book Club
  • Insecurities submissives have
  • Insecurities Dominants have
  • The word “jealousy”
  • How insecurities impact your D/s relationship
  • What you can do to work on those insecurities
