A few years ago, I hated the sound of my own voice. Now, well, I’m still no fan, but I’m much comfortable having a voice. I once thought writing was my only passion, and then I recorded a few podcasts and had a few conversations.
And I learned so much about myself and the people who listen to my podcasts.
I share because I can’t imagine doing anything else, and I marvel that anyone listens. The more I share, the more confident I become — in my voice, in my thoughts, in having the right to take up space, virtual or otherwise.
That there’s a chance I might podcast naked, with soft breasts exposed, consider that a bonus…or a fantasy. I mean, it is Boobday, after all.
The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can. ~Neil Gaiman
