The irony is not lost on me that a song I absolutely love, a song that never fails to make me smile, was written a few years ago by a young man dying of cancer. The irony that when I think of all that John Brownstone faces at the end of his sister’s life, this is the song I thought of, is not lost on me either. Maybe it’s because I heard his story before I heard his song or maybe it’s because his genuine positivity in a very short life pours through every note – either way, at this, a dark hour, I share it with you and with the most amazing man I’ve ever known.
A truly beautiful song. All of my love and prayers for and SS in this hour. Love you, Kayla❤️
Thanks, Annie. Love you, too.
Beautiful uplifting song – with such a wonderful message. Sending prayers and hugs your way to you both.
Thank you, Cerita. They are much appreciated.
My heart goes out to you and John Brownstone. God never gives more than we can handle. Stay strong!
Thank you. I try to remember that but I wish God didn’t have so much confidence in us. 🙂
As Annie says love and prayers for you and SS in this time of heart and soul searching. Love to you both
Thank you. ((HUGS))
Princess and I both wish you strength. These are particular hard times, specially for John. Our hearts and thoughts go out you both (((hugs)))
Thank you. John is the strongest person I know…I’m simply here to support him in whatever way I can. (((HUGS)))
Hugs Kayla!! What an amazing young man.
Wasn’t he? When I saw a follow up to this video that he’d died, I cried like I knew him.
Hugs for you sweet Kayla, having just gone through a year of watching my Mom battle Cancer with such dignity and grace, I can say it’s so hard to watch the people we love fight this horrific disease. Sending u much love!!
