Submissive

Bitch, Please

I have to admit that I’ve been fortunate in my encounters with Dominant men – since the beginning. The few who have spoken with me for more than one conversation have been polite, respectful, genuinely curious. My fear, as a single submissive woman, is of those “doms” who believe every submissive is supposed to bow down in supplication from the first contact. I don’t want to be fooled by one of these, well, fools. And I would never want to find myself alone with one of them.

I finally had an encounter with an idiot dominant. He approached me on Tumblr. The first two or three messages were innocuous. What do you like? When did you discover your submissiveness? Blah blah blah. Tumblr is new ground for me and a lot of people don’t seem to interact, so I’m an enthusiastic responder to all messages.

And then the conversation turned.

That’s when I became the woman that most people in my vanilla life consider intimidating.

The first message that surprised me demanded that I explain my submission to him, tell him about my D/s experience, and go to his page and find pictures that I thought represented me and tell him why.

Bitch, please.

I explained that I may be a submissive, but I don’t submit for just anyone. He attempted to tell me that I’m not truly submissive and that he is a master.

Bitch, please.

I advised him that maybe he didn’t understand how D/s works and his expectation that I would fall to my proverbial knees because he deigned to speak to me was over the top. He told me he’d been in the lifestyle since 1985 and knew how D/s is supposed to work.

Bitch, please.

1985, huh? If you’re looking for the submissive who submits in the first thirty seconds, tell me, oh great one, how long do those relationships last for you? I’m a submissive woman, but my submission is earned and granted to the Dominant who proves to be worthy of it. If you’re such a master, you’d know that.

Funny thing – I didn’t hear from him again.
