Submissive

A Girl

I’m back home and looking forward to getting back to my routine (thank God!). Something about this week threw me off, and I spent the majority of my time out of town in a bad mental space. I cried more. I looked at myself very negatively. I questioned everything. Except for one night…

Raise your hand if you’ve ever met one of your blog crushes in real life. I have, I have!! I met the amazing, wonderful, funny, sweet, sarcastic, AWESOME Submissive Night Owl!

You know how you read someone’s posts, and after a while you begin to imagine what they sound like or their mannerisms? Oh, is that just me? Well, no matter, because I was completely right!

I was close enough to where she lives that she came to have dinner with me Thursday night! We talked and talked and talked for hours – in my hotel room, in the restaurant, back in my hotel room. We would have talked all night, but around 1:00 a.m. I had to apologetically kick her out – since I needed to wake up at 6:00 a.m. If I hadn’t had meetings the next day, I could have stayed talking all night.

We are fellow survivors of heart break and grief. We served as counselor and therapist. We giggled over some of our favorite aspects of Dominance and submission. We shared our dinner and dessert, our hopes and fears, our desires and passions. That night was a bright, shining light in an otherwise very gloomy week for me.

At the end of it all, we laughed, teared up (no crying allowed!), ate, talked, hugged…and kissed. I kissed a girl. And darling Night Owl, I’m so glad it was you.
