Aaaaaand here we are in July, looking back at June, and where in the hell did the month go? And how in the hell has half the year slipped by?
For those who follow this monthly update closely, you’ll see that I’ve changed it up a bit and removed some information. I’m looking for your opinions on this (since if you’re interested enough to read it each month, I assume you have a thought or two, lol). At the end, I ask a few questions, but your thoughts are always appreciated.

I’ve struggled this past month with blogging. Not because I don’t want to but because whatever is going on in my head has made it rough. So, I do what I can, pull some fiction out of my head when there’s no kinky fuckery to rely on, and try to stick with routines because those can get you through when the energy isn’t there.
I don’t know who’s been sharing my older posts to get so many views in a given month, but I appreciate them. And it’s proof that all your content matters. When it has no expiration date and isn’t tied to just one specific event, it can have a life long after you’ve moved on to other topics.

I didn’t expect June to be a big month for Masturbation Monday because there was so much activity in May, but the views were actually higher in June. Not by much, but it’s surprising to see. Hopefully this is a trend that the views will continue to go up. I know several new-to-me writers have joined in lately, bringing their audience along for the ride so that has certainly helped.
In a few short weeks, we’ll be at week 100 of Masturbation Monday followed shortly by the two year anniversary. I have no clue what to do for it, but hopefully all my smutty writer friends will help me make it HUGE for the readers.

Amazon was low, but other channels were higher. Those All Romance numbers are thanks, in part, to a summer sale they had in June and because I participated in a daily deal and reduced the price of the first Sir and Babygirl book. Right now (July) I’m participating in the Smashwords summer sale, and Madame Gretchen is free while the rest of my books are 50% off. It will be interesting to see what the numbers look like next month.

The podcasts have been growing in length and the numbers of listeners seem to be stabilizing. I’d love to have more growth, but that’s okay. For just under a year of episodes, I’m satisfied. I receive a stats report once a week and I have episodes from two or more months ago with 1300 or more downloads.
For those who read these posts each month, you can see that I’ve streamlined the info a little. I want to take the focus off of what I’ve earned (June was a pretty good month, lol) and what I’ve written, and focus on the numbers. I get these numbers because I follow my own advice (as much as possible) that I share with y’all in the Erotic Promo Tips series. Could some of my numbers be better? No doubt, and hopefully I can start making that happen.

Unfortunately, due to my hearing loss I don’t partake of the podcasts so luuuuvv when you do a transcript. I realise you can’t do one every time but really appreciate it when you do even though I may not always say so.
