Wicked Wednesday

Unspoken Messages #WickedWednesday

She didn’t know what was wrong with her. She always did exactly as she was told, quickly and with a certain joy in knowing she was being of service to Him. So why was she balking now?

“Girl, I told you to get undressed and get into bed. It’s been a long day, and you need your sleep.”

She heard the exhaustion in his voice. He was as tired, if not more so, as she was. The only thing that pulled her out of bed that morning was the promise of snuggling in his arms again that night. So why was she standing there, staring at her feet?

“Girl?” His voice held a hint of worry. Was something wrong with her, something that physically prohibited her from obeying?

Before she could stop herself, she looked directly into this eyes and said, “I don’t want to, and you can’t make me!”

His eyes changed from concern to fury. She could feel her own widen at her audacity. She started to back away from him, but he was faster. Without a word, he grabbed her arm, whipped her around, pushed her head into the mattress, yanked her pants down, and smacked her ass with a ferocity that surprised her. SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

Pulling her to her feet, he forced her to turn and look at him. “You will get undressed and get in that bed now, or I will rip your clothes from you, and you can sleep on the floor tonight – by yourself.” His voice was calm and cool, but his eyes told a different story. She’d never defied him before.

She trembled as tears flowed down her face. Her bottom was on fire. Why was she rebelling now? This didn’t make any sense. All she wanted was to curl up next to him, but she was doing everything to prevent that. She was her own worst enemy.

He watched her, waiting to see what she would do next. His eyes widened when she crumpled to the floor, sobbing and hugging his ankles. Her bare ass still held a touch of pinkness from the spanking moments before. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Even in her distress, she was beautiful at his feet.

“Please, Sir, I don’t know what’s wrong with me!” She wailed, her body shaking with the force of her cries. “I just want to be warm in your arms, but I don’t want to get undressed! And I don’t know why!”

He stared down at her for several moments. He watched her tremble and shake. Squatting down next to her, he stroked her hair. She’d had a hard week at work. He realized he’d missed the signs of her stress building. She needed release. They hadn’t played rough in a few weeks, and now, he realized, she was subconsciously forcing a punishment to get what she needed.

“I know why, girl.” His voice was almost gentle. She cried as if her heart was breaking.

Without a word, he gripped her hair and forced her back to the bed. She shrieked in pain and bewilderment. He pushed her face into the mattress with one hand and began to wail on her ass with the other hand. He didn’t stop when she screamed or tried to cover her bottom with her hands. He knew he would only stop for one reason, and she wasn’t saying the one word that could stop it all.

He didn’t stop until her body went completely limp and his hand ached. The only sound in the room was that of gasping sobs, muffled by the blankets.

“I’m sorry, little one. I should have been more attentive. You needed that, and I’ve missed the unspoken messages you sent.” She stopped crying and looked up at him with a bewildered look.

“Sir, please don’t apologize to me! I should have known what I needed or talked to you when I became stressed! You shouldn’t have to read my messages!” The pain and distress were forgotten as she spoke. “This isn’t your fault. It’s mine. And I’m sorry!”

Gathering her into his arms, he stroked her hair and kissed her forehead. “A compromise. We’re both wrong. Let’s go to bed and you can tell me what’s on your mind.”

She nuzzled his neck, wrapping her arms around him, pulling him close. “That sounds wonderful, Sir.”

Welcome to Wicked Wednesday! This week’s prompt is “Getting the message across.” This is what came to mind. Sometimes the messages we send out are missed because we aren’t communicating clearly. A good Dominant often reads their submissive well enough to know before the sub does if something’s wrong. But no Dominant is perfect or all-knowing – they can miss the messages we’re sending out. There shouldn’t be a need to be so subtle – a submissive should be able and willing to tell their Dominant what they need. Don’t make your Dominant read you – if you know what’s wrong or what you need. And if you’re in a relationship where you don’t feel comfortable with that level of communication, there’s a problem.
